Technology

Technology Services provide solutions for all district-related hardware, software, network, and service needs. Currently, the department maintains approximately 7,000 end user computers across 12 physical sites. The district buildings are connected via a fiber optic network at all locations. Both students and staff have access to desktops or laptops and the district is 1:1 chromebooks for all students in grades K-12. The current replacement cycle for end users machines is approximated at seven years. Students are responsible for learning and applying the Wisconsin Information and Technology Literacy Standards as a part of their classwork.

Technology Service maintains, supports, installs, and repairs the computing, mainframe, and network resources of the school district on a year-round basis. IT also works in conjunction with the Building Technicians to ensure that staff and student PC assets are kept in working order. Finally, IT also provides various training resources.
