7th Grade: Strengthening Skills, Exploring Ideas, and Preparing for the Future

Seventh grade is a year of exploration, growth, and increased independence. Students continue building strong academic foundations while developing the critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills needed for success in high school and beyond. Through engaging discussions, collaborative projects, scientific investigations, and real-world learning experiences, students gain confidence as learners and discover new ways to connect classroom learning to the world around them.

Learning That Inspires Growth and Discovery

Seventh grade challenges students to think more deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and apply their learning in meaningful ways. Whether they're analyzing literature, solving complex mathematical problems, investigating scientific concepts, or exploring world history, students continue building the knowledge, confidence, and independence they'll need for future academic success.

English Language Arts: Students strengthen reading, writing, and analytical skills through literature and informational texts while developing argumentative, explanatory, and evidence-based writing.

Math: Students build mathematical reasoning through proportional relationships, geometry, probability, algebraic thinking, and real-world problem-solving.

Science: Students investigate energy, motion, magnetism, thermal energy, chemical reactions, and light through hands-on scientific inquiry and engineering experiences.

Social Studies: Students explore world history from early civilizations through the Age of Exploration while examining the cultures, empires, and events that shaped our world.
