Early Learning Enrollment

Welcome to the West Bend School District. Our community-based 4K program is offered at locations in West Bend, Jackson, and Newburg. The program is an optional, high-quality program offered at no cost to families who live in the West Bend School District attendance area. There is a material fee for the 4K program with the amount to be determined by the West Bend School Board. The community-based 4K program will be taught by certified teachers and promote early reading and math skills, language development, and social growth to help prepare all children for success.

The West Bend School District is the Head Start provider for Washington County. Head Start is offered in three locations: Green Tree Elementary in West Bend (beginning in fall 2026), YMCA - West Washington Ave. in West Bend, and Jackson Community Center in Jackson.

Our Early Learning Special Education team includes special education teachers, para-educators, speech therapists, and occupational and physical therapists, all working closely together. As a team, we ensure that each student receives the individualized support they need to thrive in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
